Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for reading my District Round-up. As your candidate for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, it is my honor and pleasure to deliver to you where I’ve been and what issues I’ve tackled in the past week. Criss-crossing the counties of Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, and Somerset gives me great opportunities to meet with voters, hear what is on your hearts and minds, and the chance to voice my fight for Everyday Americans. If you would like to contribute to my campaign, please donate here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/beth-farnham-for-congress-1

The murder of Renee Good was a chance for Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) to pause, re-evaluate their agenda, retrain their agents, and reassure the nation that they would not shoot unarmed civilians again. Of course, every murder, like that of Keith Porter, Jr., they had committed in the name of “securing our borders” had been the same opportunity for reform, but Ms. Good’s murder was captured on film by several witnesses was shared around the world, and received more attention than any of the others, so her execution became the springboard for change.
Instead, Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Krisit Noem, claimed Ms. Good committed “an act of domestic terrorism.” In attempting to clear his name, murderer Jonathan Ross released his own cell phone video which captured Ms. Good’s last words that further damned his actions, “Whatever Dude, I’m not mad at you.”
In other words, there has been no contrition from ICE, DHS, or the Trump administration, no pause, no preventative measures, no change whatsoever. Therefore, yesterday, just prior to my Town Hall, another unarmed civilian was gunned down in cold blood by an ICE agent.
This time the victim was an ICU nurse at the VA, named Alex Pretti, who was also in legal possession of a gun in his waistband. Multiple videos taken by witnesses show Mr. Pretti being pepper-sprayed, assaulted, disarmed, then executed by 10 gunshots.
Thus, we must abolish ICE.
Should we protect our borders? Sure, but this is clearly not the agency through which to do it. ICE no longer serves The People, but a tyrannical administration.
So please call Senators Fetterman and McCormick and demand they vote against DHS funding until ICE is abolished.
Because until ICE is abolished, we can expect many more people exercising their Constitutional rights to be brutally killed in broad daylight by out of control government officials who have no accountability.

Many thanks to all who attended the Town Hall on Healthcare and Affordability yesterday in Chambersburg. I appreciated the opportunity to speak about these important issues to Everyday Americans. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act is another form of harm that Republicans are inflicting on the American people and it should be countered by a newly-elected Congress in 2026 of which I plan to be a part of. Pictures to come.

Many, many thanks to the Franklin County Coalition for Progress and to the Central Food Bank of Harrisburg for providing opportunities to Beth Farnham for Congress to serve the community.
Team Beth Farnham for Congress has been hard at work cleaning the offices for the Franklin County Housing Authority and packing boxes of food for hungry Pennsylvanians. I am grateful to Sandy, Brian, Jack, and all of the team for all that they do for others.
Together we #ChooseDemocracy and Community!![]()
Many thanks to PCN Select for releasing their video of my speech at the Penn Ag Dem luncheon on January 10th.
If you’re like me, you love this country as much as I do and work to make a positive difference. In the midst of this Constitutional Crisis, please consider reaching out to your local Democratic committees or Democratic candidates so that we can strengthen our Democracy instead of letting it slide into fascism.
We don’t just #ChooseDemocracy, we choose Pennsylvania, we choose The United States of America, we choose Humanity and I am deeply glad to work along side you.
Sincerely,
Beth
