Blair County Town Hall
Many, many thanks to all who came out to our Town Hall today at the AFSCME building in Duncansville and to the volunteers of Team Beth Farnham for Congress for making it such a success!
It was a great afternoon of district-level information, solutions, thoughtful questions, and heartfelt comments.
Candidate Conversation by the South-Central Caucus of the PA State Democratic Committee
I was honored to speak during the Candidate Conversation event in Harrisburg. Here is what I believe about I.C.E. and the future of immigrants to the United States.
While the ultra-wealthy waste their time and money supporting the useless Melania movie, I’m fighting for Everyday Americans because we deserve Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
As our elected US Representative, I pledge to:
– vote for a national healthcare plan so the every American has accessible and affordable healthcare.
– raise the federal minimum wage from a poverty wage to a livable one.
– ensure food assistance, like SNAP, is available to our hungriest Americans.
– abolish I.C.E. and vote for clear paths to citizenship.
– enshrine into federal law our Reproductive Freedom so that we can create the families we choose.
– hold accountable every government official of the Trump administration and its supporters for their crimes against humanity, the US Constitution, and the American People.
– institute Gun Safety like safe storage of guns, reporting of lost or stolen guns universal background checks and red flag laws so that gun violence will never again be the leading cause of death for US children.
– strengthen our voting rights so that the Will of The People will never again be left in doubt.
