Claire Meissner

Social Media Coordinator

Biography

I am a relatively new resident of Pennsylvania, having moved to Adams County in 2022 after retiring just before COVID. I am a retired medical librarian, who was employed by a small healthcare system and provided evidence-based information for health care professionals and students. I have also been an English and writing teacher.

My concerns about healthcare, reproductive rights, and education pre-date my move. I am distressed by the way individuals are being mistreated and harmed, subjected to violence and intimidation, and denied legal rights. We need elected office holders who will put the well-being of their constituents first and serve them, not special interests or big donors.

This is the first time I have volunteered for a campaign. I volunteered because I wanted to do what I could to be an active part of the effort to change our representation in Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District — and have no regrets after November 3, 2026.
