Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for reading my District Round-up. As your candidate for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, it is my honor and pleasure to deliver to you where I’ve been and what issues I’ve tackled in the past week. Criss-crossing the counties of Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, and Somerset gives me great opportunities to meet with voters, hear what is on your hearts and minds, and the chance to voice my fight for Everyday Americans. This past week, our country was rocked by another senseless murder perpetrated by gun violence, the leading cause of death for US children. Indeed, two children were gunned down, not outside, not at a game, not in a school, not at a movie, not in a grocery store, not at a mall, nor at so many other places Americans have been slaughtered by bullets.
No, these two children were praying inside of a church. None of that religiosity saved them.
But no one should accept children being shot anywhere.
And so I posted on Facebook this graphic to explain my position on Gun Safety in contrast to that of our Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce.

And did Representative Joyce do anything in response to this fresh American horror while neighbors, organizations, and government entities have been flying their flags half mast?
Absolutely not.
Instead, he served up this image in his newsletter today, as if promoting gun sales is the answer to innocent blood spilled.

As a reminder, here is a picture of innocent blood spilled from the Uvalde school murders of children by gun in Texas. I’ve made it much smaller if you need to skip over it.

Please help our neighbors vote this tone-deaf elitist out of office so that gun violence is no longer the number one killer of US children.
In other news, yesterday, Campaign Manager, Jack Stansbury, and I traveled to Burnham, Mifflin County for their Community Day Fair. Many thanks to the Mifflin County Democrats for hosting a booth there. I had a great time speaking and listening to voters about what is on their hearts and minds concerning the federal government. Later, I spoke with voters at the Juniata County Fair and learned about the Tuscarora Academy and the Tuscarora people.
Unsurprisingly, no one I spoke to could come up with the name of our US Representative because he hides. Multimillionaire John Joyce is too elitist to answer our phone calls, letters, and emails, much less inquire of his constituency at a small town fair.
But I, Beth Farnham, am glad to take the time and care to talk about our precious Democracy, the rising cost of living, and so many other issues with Everyday Americans. Please vote for me in November 2026 so I can properly represent us!
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy!
P.S. Many thanks to Campaign Manager Jack Stansbury for accompanying me across our beautiful Congressional District and for taking photos on this gorgeous day.
P.P.S. Check out the Fall crafts from the Mifflin Dems.

Later, Jack and I attended the Juniata County Fair and stopped by the Juniata Historical Society booth where we learned a lot about the Pomeroy-Academia bridge and the Tuscarora Academy. Spencer McLoughlin is the Chair of the Juniata County Dems and has extensive knowledge of Juniata County.

If you’re like me, you love this country as much as I do and work to make a positive difference. In the midst of this Constitutional Crisis, please consider reaching out to your local Democratic committees or Democratic candidates so that we can strengthen our Democracy instead of letting it slide into fascism.
We don’t just #ChooseDemocracy, we choose Pennsylvania, we choose The United States of America, we choose Humanity and I am deeply glad to work along side you.
Sincerely,
Beth
