Criss-crossing the counties of Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, and Somerset gives me great opportunities to meet with voters, hear what is on your hearts and minds, and the chance to voice my fight for Everyday Americans. Where was our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, last weekend?
While I was out in our 13th Congressional District, including festivals in Altoona and Hollidaysburg (Joyce’s home turf), listening to the valid concerns of our voters about the criminal and disastrous scheme that is the Trump administration, Joyce was…
Not holding an in-person town hall with his constituents.
Not criticizing US House Speaker Mike Johnson for failing to swear in Adelita Grijalva.
Not advocating for the continuation of ACA subsidies to end the government shutdown.
Not criticizing Trump for his incompetent tariff-by-tweet policy that has sky-rocketed the cost of living for Everyday Americans.
Not speaking out against Trump’s murders of people in boats who, without any evidence, simply look like drug smugglers to Trump.
Instead, Joyce made an appearance at a Charlie Kirk vigil in Altoona.
Charlie Kirk was a person whom Joyce isn’t known to have ever mentioned until Kirk’s violent murder.
Was that because because Charlie Kirk advocated the release of the Epstein files?
Who knows?
But Joyce is certainly leveraging Kirk’s death now for political gains.
We don’t need that multimillionaire hack who only pretends to align with the hearts of many PA-13 voters when it suits his political career.
He doesn’t actually care about any of us Everyday Americans and it shows.
It shows in his awkward distance from voters.
It shows in his slobbering sycophancy for Trump and his murderous administration.
And it shows in his Congressional votes against the needs of his constituents – like his votes against The Infrastructure Bill, The American Rescue Plan, The Inflation Reduction Act, the Women’s Health Protection Act, and the Respect for Marriage Act.
But you can do something about John Joyce’s failure to serve us.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, next year to represent us because I am with The People of PA-13, advocating improvements of our lives and protecting our Precious Democracy, no matter what famous person has passed away.

On Tuesday, I attended the Bedford County Democratic Committee dinner at Whispering Hollow .
It was a terrific gathering of those who care about our precious Democracy, Reproductive Freedom, our high cost of living, and so much more!
The food was delicious, the fellowship was heartwarming, and the dancing was lots of fun.
On Thursday, I spoke to members of the Carpenters and Joiners Local #423 union before their meeting.
I truly appreciated the opportunity to introduce our congressional district to members as our own useless representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, hasn’t answered invitations to come there, despite the fact he’s supposed to represent these hardworking Americans and he lives minutes from the impressive training center.
I would be honored and privileged to represent Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District and that includes the union members who manifest our First Amendment Rights every time they assemble peacefully for meetings.
We have the improved working conditions we do because of the sacrifices of union members across the generations and I will never forsake them. I would so much rather represent hardworking families rather than billionaires who take advantage of labor.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, to represent us next November.

And on Saturday, PA-13 stood strong and said, “NO KINGS!”
Many thanks to all of the organizers for today’s historic rallies – Adams County Democratic Committee, Indivisible – Blair County, PA Franklin County Democratic Committee, Kierson Daily, Mifflin County Democrats, and Juniata County Democratic Committee.
I especially appreciated the opportunity to address the crowd in Gettysburg.
Many thanks also to everyone who attended events in Harrisburg, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, and everywhere else we say “NO!” to Trump’s authoritarianism.
Honestly, we wouldn’t have to do any of this if Republicans in Congress, like our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, would just uphold their oaths to the US Constitution and DO THEIR JOBS OF HOLDING TRUMP ACCOUNTABLE AND REPRESENTING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Alas, Joyce and others have yielded their power to Trump.
But we can turn this around by voting for me, Beth Farnham, next year.
