Considering the free-wheeling raids of our personal information at various US Departments and Agencies earlier this year by Elon Musk and his DOGE bros, this USDA demand of SNAP beneficiary info seems redundant, but maybe Musk and company simply kept the pilfered information for themselves.
“The agriculture department is seeking personal information like Social Security numbers, birth dates, and home addresses—information it claims will aid officials in rooting out fraud. Democratic leaders have warned the data could be used for other policies not related to keeping people fed, like immigration enforcement.”
Nonetheless, the Trump administration’s USDA is threatening to withhold SNAP benefits for hungry Pennsylvanians unless Governor Shapiro betrays 2 million Pennsylvanians.
Not only is Trump’s USDA threatening to withhold SNAP funding from Pennsylvania, but his administration is also threatening to withhold SNAP funding from 19 other states that have Democratic leaders who refuse to give up the beneficiary info.
The Trump administration has no right to this information and can’t be trusted not to use whatever they would receive for nefarious purposes.
Naturally, our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, says nothing about this looming disaster because he chose to remove SNAP benefits from over six thousand of his own constituents based on no proof of fraud from specific beneficiaries when he voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act…twice.
It’s as if Joyce can’t force Pennsylvanians into starvation fast enough.
Vote this evil clown out of office next November and vote for me, Beth Farnham, to represent Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District because not only do I #ChooseDemocracy, I choose the health, safety, and privacy of Everyday Americans.
What a beautiful and festive evening for the annual Cocoa Crawl in charming downtown Chambersburg on Friday!
In addition to enjoying warm cocoa, I met many small business owners.
I let them know that I care about them and their businesses.
That means I’m fighting for affordable healthcare and reduced tariffs.
Please elect me to US Congress next November because when you choose Beth Farnham, you #ChooseDemocracy, you choose the heartbeat of small town America 
(PS. While I endorsed their businesses, it does not mean they necessarily endorse me as a candidate, but in the spirit of community, we stood together.)
Whether you’re choosing your favorite candidate or gingerbread house, voting is a sacred American institution.
Yet, for so many, the ability to exercise one’s voting rights has been significantly curtailed.

In a free and fair Democracy, voting is a “shall have”, not a “may have”.
That’s why I’ll be fighting for more free and fair access to voting through federal legislation that promotes expanded access for US citizens to polling places, early voting, and more mail in ballot availability.
