District Round-up 05.03.26
Dear Neighbor, Thank you for reading my District Round-up. As your candidate for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, it is my honor and pleasure to deliver to you where I’ve been and what issues I’ve tackled in the past week. Criss-crossing the counties of Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, and Somerset gives me great opportunities to meet with voters, hear what is on your hearts and minds, and the chance to voice my fight for Everyday Americans. If you would like to contribute to my campaign, please donate here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/beth-farnham-for-congress-1
Please Vote for Me!
By now, you should have received your mail-in ballot if you signed up to vote that way. For all Democrats – I am on the Democratic ballot to vote for. For all Republicans – you are welcome to write my name in and darken the corresponding oval instead of voting for John Joyce. Please spread the word.

Endorsements Alert!
Thank you South Central Young Democrats!
I am proud to be endorsed by these progressive young people.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy !

Many thanks to the Perry County Democrats for their unanimous endorsement of my campaign. I appreciate all they do for Perry County residents.
Their letter reads:
On April 19th, the Perry County Democratic Committee unanimously endorsed Beth Farnham for U.S. House of Representatives for Congressional District 13. Beth is a passionate, determined and intelligent person who ran previously in 2024 for this position. She is consistent in her messaging about what the working class has been anxious to hear. Beth will defend public education, vote to raise the minimum wage to a living wage, support and strengthen gun safety laws, reduce the cost of healthcare and will work to reduce the high cost of food and other essentials we need. Most importantly, Beth will work for us, not those who are elected but never “represent” what the people want! We highly recommend voting for Beth Farnham for U.S. House of Representatives for Congressional District 13! She’s one of us!

How You Can Help Bring US Representative John Joyce to Debate Me
Why won’t my opponent, US Representative and multimillionaire, John Joyce, debate me?
Because he represents the ultra-wealthy, not Everyday Americans.
It’s why he voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act – it strips away healthcare from the poorest among us, dramatically increases premiums of Pennie (Affordable Care Act in Pennsylvania), and forces cuts to Medicare.
By extending the 2017 tax cuts to the ultra-wealthy, the national deficit will skyrocket, mandating at least $418 billion dollars to be cut from Medicare, forcing senior citizens to pay more out-of-pocket.
He doesn’t care that Trump’s never-ending war is costing Americans $1 billion/day.
He doesn’t care that Trump puts our national security at risk with decreased weapons.
He doesn’t care about rising prices of gasoline, groceries, or light bills.
Joyce doesn’t care that his vote for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act strips food assistance from his hungriest constituents.
He doesn’t care that his vote for the Save America Act strips voting rights primarily from women.
He doesn’t care that mothers needing life-saving D&C’s, mislabled “abortion” in several states are denied them after miscarriage, only to die of sepsis later.
The moment he opens his mouth to defend his awful positions is the moment he bares his ugly, tortured soul.
And then, you’ll realize that he never cared about you.
So he’ll stay hidden, in the shadows, avoiding in-person Town Halls, forgoing fora, and dodging debates.
But you can change this.
Call upon your county Chamber of Commerce, instutitions of higher learning, newspapers, and television stations.
Demand to hear your candidates for US Congress debate their postions at the venue of their choice.
And require from them that even if one candidate, the cowardly John Joyce, doesn’t show up, the host will still ask the important questions of the present candidate, i.e. me, Beth Farnham.
Because you choose Democratic norms.
You choose Transparency.
You choose Real Representation.

Supporting Local Businesses
Wednesday afternoon, the Cinco de Mayo meet and greet at the Volvo in Shippensburg was the place to be!
Hosted by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, owners and workers alike met to discuss the issues near and dear to their hearts.
I met a number of voters including Mike Davidson and also ran into Commissioner Bob Ziobrowski!
Small businesses are one of the heartbeats of America but they are especially affected by healthcare costs which is why I’m proud to tell them that I support a national healthcare plan as well as The Rule of Two.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy and entrepreneurship!

Candidate Forum #2
Many thanks to the Blair County Democratic Committee for, along with the Blair County Young Democrats, chair Owen Smith Meyer, for hosting a great candidate forum at the AFL-CIO Union Building in Altoona on Friday afternoon. It was a great session of candidate passion and voter engagement. I was happy to participate with candidates Caleb McCoy for PA State 79th District, Sarah Holland for PA State 80th District, and Sean Steeg PA Senate 30th District.

Spring Brunch and Doorknocking
Many thanks to the Cambria County Democratic Committee for inviting me to speak at their Spring Brunch on Saturday at the Parkway Diner in Portage. It was refreshing to reconnect with such dedicated Democrats in this pivotal election year. Later, I went doorknocking in Portage and connected with several more voters.
2026 is our year!

Comparing and Contrasting Votes on Legislation
Check out how Joyce recently voted, how I would have voted in comparison, and why!
If you’re like me, you love this country as much as I do and work to make a positive difference. In the midst of this Constitutional Crisis, please consider reaching out to your local Democratic committees or Democratic candidates so that we can strengthen our Democracy instead of letting it slide into fascism. We don’t just #ChooseDemocracy, we choose Pennsylvania, we choose The United States of America, we choose Humanity and I am deeply glad to work along side you. Sincerely, Beth
