I, Beth Farnham, am the Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District and the best person to represent this district because like you, I am an Everyday American who loves our country.
As a former credit analyst who spent years helping Americans across the nation to develop personal financial solutions and as a current stay-at-home parent, I know the devastation that a sharply rising cost of living brings to Everyday Americans. It doesn’t matter if the unaffordability of high-priced gas, groceries, light bills, and other expensive everyday essentials comes from an unjustified war, an incompetent tariff policy, or illegally-impounded funds.
What matters in PA-13 is that hard-working families, retirees on a fixed income, young adults just making their way, veterans, teachers, nurses, and everyone who is not a multimillionaire deserve a Representative in Congress who will vote in our interests and prevent a rogue president from costing us our lives, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
As our elected U.S. Representative reporting to Washington D.C., I pledge to uphold my Oath of Office to support and defend the U.S. Constitution and I will vote to: impeach those who have committed crimes against humanity and Constitutional law, increase the federal minimum wage from a poverty wage to a liveable wage, create a national healthcare plan, abolish I.C.E., strengthen our national security, enshrine into federal law our Reproductive Freedom, overturn Citizens United, prevent corporations from denying union participation, and genuinely answer your questions through in-person Town Halls, meetings in my office, by email, or over the phone.
Please vote for me in the May 19th Primary Election so that I can properly represent the people across the 10+ counties of our stunningly beautiful district.

Lieutenant Austin Davis Came to Gettysburg to Discuss Affordable Housing
Many thanks to Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis for coming today to Gettysburg in our beautiful 13th Congressional District.
He participated in a roundtable about affordable housing which is very much on the minds of Everyday Americans.
Hosted by PA State representative Dan Moul, panelists, including JR Crushong of the Adams County Housing Authority, and Megan Shreve and Jessica Lupian of South Central Community Action Programs exchanged excellent information and insights on community members who are in need of this vital resource.
I was saddened to hear about the drop in the number of working families who grew up in Adams County, but moved away due to unaffordable housing.
Considering the uptick in retirees who have moved into the area, the situation seems unsustainable as fewer service workers who can afford to live here will not be able to meet the increased demand of care over time.
Discussions on jacked up lot rent for manufactured homes highlighted the greed of private equity firms as the costs of groceries, healthcare, and gasoline continue to rise.
I asked Lt. Gov. Davis what solutions he saw from the federal level of government and he mentioned strengthening H.U.D. in terms of funding and outreach.
“Gee,” I added, “if we weren’t funding unjustified wars, imagine the Affordability we could bring to Everyday Americans.”
I am proud to have voted for the Lieutenant Governor on my primary ballot and I welcome you to do the same.

Working Hard for Affordable Housing
Many thanks to Team Beth Farnham for volunteering to clean up the Franklin County Housing Authority during the United Way “May of Caring.”
Volunteers Jack Stansbury, Barb Fisher, Brian Ecker, Rosemary Hill, and Gary Hill weeded, seeded, swept, raked, and spread mulch at the Waynesboro office that had been in operation for 50 years and further into the community.
And thank you to The United Way for the lunch.
We are proud to lend our time and support to the United Way so that elderly and disabled Americans have affordable and secure shelter.

Joyce Doesn’t Vote for Farmers
Representative John Joyce’s votes hurt Pennsylvania farmers.
His vote to allow the war in Iran to continue has increased the price of fertilizer 37% (with 70% of farmers saying they can’t get the fertilizer they need), the price of diesel by 33%, and the price of energy by 12.5%.
His vote for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act erased the Covid-era subsidies for Pennie premiums thereby increasing the cost of healthcare so much that farmers are going without their health insurance now. Nevermind the fact that male farmers are 2 and a half times more likely than the general population to commit suicide.
His vote to approve Trump’s D.O.G.E. cuts to USAID means that farmers in Pennsylvania lost their part of a $2 billion food program, six regional investigators were reduced to one which translated to a rise in cases of animal cruelty, a compromise of mitigation of avian influenza, reduced quality of imported foodstuffs, and reduced food safety and security and human safety and security. Nevermind the 14 million preventable deaths overseas.
His vote for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act funds Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) so well that while these masked agents of the state kidnap, detain, and deport immigrant workers, it is difficult for farmers to get enough labor now.
Representative Joyce might pose awkwardly with farmers for photo ops, but ultimately, he votes against their interests.
And while he voted for the much-needed Farm Bill, this Farm Bill does nothing to counter lost markets due to an incompetent tariff policy, rising food prices, high input costs, nor does it financially assist struggling family farmers.
Don’t vote for that poser anymore.
Vote for me, Beth Farnham, to represent us.
As our elected Representative of our beautiful 13th Congressional District, I’ll vote for legislation that actually protects the interests of those who grow our food like universal healthcare, ending the war in Iran, re-establishing USAID, abolishing I.C.E., and programs that help farmers get through the lean times.

The Will of the People
The Will of The People shall not be subverted.
We will not pay for ballrooms…
We will not pay for unjustified wars…
We will not keep paying higher prices for groceries, gasoline, healthcare, and energy…
After a Congress that represents the Will of the People is installed.
No more will members of the Epstein class twist the Power of The People into more power for a cruel and incompetent Executive branch.
