An Anonymous Postcarder Nails the Truth About Joyce’s Lack of Support for Farmers
What has Dr. Moneybags done for the farmers of his district? Raised the cost of fuel and fertilizers so they can’t afford to keep their farms! Time for him to go!
Dear Anonymous Postcarder,
You’re right!
“Like so many Trump promises, the help never arrived. The suicide rate in rural communities is now 3.5 times the national average and climbing.
Farmers buckle under the financial strain of crippling agricultural tariffs, rising input costs and a president who didn’t bother to mention them once in his most recent State of the Union address.”
Even the $12 billion Bridge Payments paid out in February weren’t enough to overcome the harm that Trump has done through the endless war in Iran that jacked up fertilizer and fuel costs.
And persecuting our agricultural work force just means that unpicked food simply rots in the fields.
Of course, our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, completely supports Trump’s awful agenda of cruelty and incompetence.
He just does it very quietly with his votes in Congress like for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that ended COVID era subsidies for Pennie, a healthcare that many farmers used until the premiums skyrocketed.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
You can elect me, Beth Farnham, to replace Joyce and make policies that actually benefit the people who feed America.

Proud to Stand in Solidarity With Little Fox Books and Friends
“Do you believe in Equality?” I asked the man draped in what can only be described as a red plastic tablecloth pinned with a fake gold lion.
“No,” he said.
Of course he didn’t. As I found out later, his red drape and tacky pin are emblems of a lunatic religious society that believes women only belong trapped in domesticity – The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property, usually referred to as TFP.
He and his group were there to protest the Drag storytime at Little Fox Books which is a fabulous queer-owned bookstore in Hanover. I stood there in solidarity with every counter protestor in front of the bookstore. I even crossed the street to stand with Pastor Kenneth Peterkin who stepped out of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ because, like me, he is guided by his faith to “love our neighbors as ourselves”.
Even the crowd I was with chanted, “Ho, Ho, Hey, Hey, Jesus loves us anyway,” but the meaning was completely lost on those who have decided there is only one way to be a family – their way.
I am proud to have stood with everyone at Little Fox Books and UCC. Why? Because I believe in our agency over our own bodies and the freedom to create the families we choose.
It is not for those TFP men, or any legislator, or any family, or any church, or any workplace, or any neighbors, or ANYONE to tell us how to make a family. It is only up to the consenting adults in the relationship to decide for themselves.
Of course, the Trump administration is hell-bent on tearing down the separation of Church and State which is why TFP and similar groups feel empowered.
“A new report by a Trump administration commission suggests replacing the idea of separating church and state with the idea of building bridges between them. The assertion — challenging a longstanding concept in American law — comes amid a raft of recommendations in a draft report of the Religious Liberty Commission, released Friday afternoon.”
Meanwhile, my opponent, our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, very much aligns with TFP and voted against the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2022 while he celebrated the overturning of Roe vs. Wade.
But I know better than any one of those men in suits.
As a child of heteronormative parents who divorced multiple times, I know the sheer harm that purity culture does to children especially.
So please keep reading to the children, Drag Queens.
Please, everyone who is comfortable doing so, tell your TRUTH.
And please elect me, Beth Farnham, to US Congress on November 3rd so we can get back to the separation of Church and State.

Don’t Sell to PPL!
Many thanks to the Coalition to Preserve Perry County for their meeting on Thursday evening.
I appreciate the paper that details the different power projects proposed for our corner of Pennsylvania.
The main takeaway?
DON’T SELL TO PPL!
If you have property that PPL Electric Utilities wants to buy for power line projects or A.I. companies want to buy in order to build their awful data centers, don’t sell it! There’s a much greater reward for you in preserving the community of your charming small town.
While we do need power lines and upgrades to the existing infrastructure, there are ways to accomplish this without destroying people’s hearth and homes.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, to represent us, and find solutions to our power needs without ruining our beautiful 13th Congressional District!

Social Security Woes
When will Social Security become insolvent?
Sources say, “roughly six years from now.”
I remember in my late twenties I used to receive one paper a year detailing how much social security I would receive when I became of age. As I continued to age and work, I liked seeing that number increase over time.
But that paper hasn’t come for years.
Why not?
Because Social Security’s retirement trust fund is projected to face a shortfall in 2032, despite the Cost of Living Adjustment next year.
“Social Security’s looming funding shortfall is mainly the result of lower projected birth rates, REDUCED IMMIGRATION and reduced trust fund revenue due to the costs of Republicans’ massive tax and spending bill that President Donald Trump signed into law last summer, according to the Board of Trustees’ report.”
That’s right, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, voted for in order to give billionaires massive tax cuts, is in part to blame.
Of course, even with the impending insolvency of Social Security, Joyce and his ultra-wealthy cronies will be just fine.
So you don’t have to waste a thought on his future because he’s definitely not thinking about yours.
And, in the future, the immigrant-haters can pat themselves on their bony backs, rested in the knowledge that they starved in their sunset years because they didn’t rely on contributions of the foreign-born.
OR PERHAPS,
the xenophobes out there could:
dial back their hatred,
recognize that we are all of the human race,
realize that American society integrates many peoples,
and accept the contributions of those who come from far away to reach their piece of the American Dream too,
so that older Americans can live out their last years with a little dignity.

Release the #EpsteinFiles
Abolish Ice
In yet another disastrous incident leading unnecessarily to loss of a life, ICE agents misidentified a legal immigrant as an undocumented one, claimed he drove at them, then MURDERED him in cold blood on the streets of America.
“Guerrero was not the intended target of the arrest warrant, officials say.”
This agency’s hiring practices are poorer and poorer every day of its existence as it never learned from the MURDERS of American citizens Keith Porter Jr, Renee Good, and Alex Pretti.
Time and again these agents ignore common sense training to NOT shoot at someone driving a 2k pound vehicle.
Meanwhile, our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, releases no statement about this MURDER.
Why not?
Because ultimately, he approves of innocent lives being taken by ICE.
It’s why he voted for ICE to be further funded $38 billion last month.
He doesn’t care that a father was MURDERED, that a worker was MURDERED, that a husband was MURDERED.
He doesn’t care that ICE failed to properly identify their person of interest.
RIP Joan Sebastian Guerrero of Maine.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd so I and other legislators who believe in due process and innocent until proven guilty, can ABOLISH ICE, and work to regain trust in law enforcement.

Even though charitable donations will not meet the overwhelming need of food assistance and healthcare for lower income Americans, these charities are a stopgap until I am elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and can legislate helpful federal programs as well as prevent a rapacious president from illegally impounding the congressionally-approved funds for those programs.
